Travelling to Lombok Island
If you are thinking about traveling to Indonesia, you must consider visiting Lombok Island. This is one of the famous tourism sites in Indonesia and has magnificent scenery just like what Bali has. This place is a beautiful, exotic and elegant island. No wonder both local and foreign ever missed the chance to visiting this magnificent island. Its reputation almost nearly as popular as Bali Island. This island has a beach with white sands and calm waves. In Lombok, there is a popular vacation area called as Senggigi beach that has a beautiful panoramic view. There are lots of resorts and hotels available near the beach. Senggigi beach is also equipped with complete facilities that fit with the international standard.
Beside Senggigi beach, there are also some interesting beached that we could find in Lombok, such as Gili Meno, Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, or even Kute beach. This particular Kute beach is dissimilar with the Kuta beach that existed in Bali. Here, foreign tourist is usually visiting this place for surfing and diving. The unique thing that you can recognize from this beach is the beach sands are as big as pepper. Local people commonly named that sands ‘pasir merica’ or pepper sands. Tourists usually bring the sands to their home to fill their aquarium with it since it is unique and can onlye be found in Lombok.
